Open-air museum – Museum of Folk Architecture in Sanok

The Museum of Folk Architecture in Sanok is the largest ethnographic park in Poland and one of the key institutions showcasing the cultural heritage of the southeastern part of the country. This extensive, picturesque site houses a collection of original rural, religious, and small-town architecture—including farmsteads, manors, Orthodox churches, craft workshops, and the impressive Galician Market Square dating from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries.

The exhibition showcases the rich cultural mosaic of the Pogórzans, Lemkos, Boykos, and Dolinians—communities that have contributed to the region's identity for centuries. Visitors have the opportunity to learn about their daily lives, traditions, crafts, religion, and economic methods, allowing for a fuller understanding of the diversity and history of this region.

The Ethnographic Park in Sanok is a professionally curated museum space where authentic architecture and carefully designed interiors create a unique representation of the multicultural heritage of the Carpathians. It's an ideal place for those seeking a valuable, historical, and educational attraction.
